Alright folks! That’s right, it’s that time of year again. Disoriental is back and gearing up to compete for the Rice Bowl and People’s Choy’s Awards for the second year in a row! Here’s the info:
- WHEN: Friday May 9 (Rice Bowl) and Saturday May 10 (People’s Choy’s)
- WHERE: The Roundhouse Performance Centre, downtown Vancouver
- TIME: 8:00pm
- HOW MUCH: $15 online (www.vact.ca) or $20 at the door
There are nine (9! NINE!) teams competing this year – all 6 teams from last year, and 3 new ones. (I think we’re the only team who’s stayed the same, though. ALTHOUGH we’ve added JENN MAGAJES as our Stage Manager for Sketchoff, so now we actually have someone to call our show! Awesome.)
There are first, second and third place prizes for the Rice Bowl, and the People’s Choy’s = winner takes all. Disoriental wants your support there! Monetary prizes rock. We’ve got some seriously funny sketches to show you, too, and we’re excited about them! Come out and see us, and have a good laugh.
